Authorities verifying reports of 30 casualties due to storm surges

ZAMBOANGA CITY — Authorities said they checking reports about the death of at least 30 people in Anongan village in Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte due to storm surges.

The police said they have asked the Navy to help verify the report. /je
