According to Cacdac, the top priority of DMW is the digitization of documentation processes.

This project was started by late DMW Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople.

Bilateral relations will also be a key effort next year.

Cacdac said bilateral ties entail dialogues with foreign governments to request increased protection for Filipinos abroad.

(There is also the crackdown of illegal recruitment, human trafficking, helping victims of illegal recruiters and human traffickers.)

Cacdac said the increased funding for the action fund of DMW, which was recently granted by Congress, will enable the department to provide legal, financial, medical and humanitarian assistance to OFWs in need.
