DPWH to repair Edsa-Roxas Boulevard flyover
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced that installation works are set to take place on the Roxas Boulevard-Edsa flyover (northbound lane) in Pasay City from Dec. 26 to Dec. 30.
The four-day project aims to address the structural concerns over the flyover.
According to the DPWH-South Manila District Engineering Office (SMDEO), the focus of the initiative will be on installing the two remaining expansion joints on the Roxas Boulevard-Edsa Flyover.
This will encompass rectifying the damaged portions affecting the northbound lane.
In an advisory, the DPWH urged motorists traveling northbound to anticipate traffic slowdowns and consider taking alternative routes during the installation period.
The DPWH officials assured the public that the installation works were part of ongoing efforts to enhance the structural integrity of the flyover. —Russel P. Loreto
