LIST: Cancelled Cebu Pacific, CebGo flights from April 28-30
MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Pacific has been forced to canceled several of its flights starting Sunday in order to reschedule previously disrupted flights.
In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said on Sunday that in the past few days, it monitored “an unprecedented level of disruption to [its] operation” that led to the flight delay or cancellations.
“Efforts have been made to minimize the disruption to our passengers in the past week. However, we realize that current operating conditions, particularly in our Manila hub, necessitate a temporary reduction of flights,” the airline company said.
“In order to create more space in our schedule for operational recovery and minimize rolling delays, it will be necessary for us to cancel the following Cebu Pacific and Cebgo flights,” it added.
According to Cebu Pacific, the flight cancellations “should help stabilize flight timing” and to improve on time performance and reduce inconvenience against passengers.
