Sevilla also assured customers that water from Manila Water up to the meter is safe to drink. The water concessionaire regularly complies with the stringent parameters of the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water.
Aside from the expansion and maintenance of the clean water network, the East Zone concessionaire also continues to extend the reach of its wastewater treatment and sanitation services to its customers.
As of November 2023, the company had laid and maintained a total of 468.91 kilometers of sewer lines. These lines will ensure that wastewater coming from households and establishments will go through the proper treatment before its release to water bodies.
