Road repairs are set to happen in Metro Manila this weekend, and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is cautioning motorists of possible traffic jams. INQUIRER FILES

MANILA, Philippines — Several roads in Metro Manila will be closed from March 1 to 4 due to reblocking and repair works, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Friday.

The road closure will start at 11 p.m. on March 1 and last until 5 a.m. on March 4, it added.

  • Edsa northbound before MRT Station (3rd lane), Pasay City
  • Pedro Gil St. cor. Taft Ave. (2nd lane), Manila City
  • Edsa southbound J.P. Rizal Ave. to Orense (3rd lane from sidewalk), Makati City
  • Edsa northbound between Ge. Tirona St. to Gen. Evangelista St., Caloocan City
  • Along Edsa southbound across 7-eleven Store near AICS (1st lane), MCU Caloocan City
  • Along Edsa southbound in front of Shell (1st lane), MCU Caloocan City
  • Along Edsa southbound in front of Max (1st lane), MCU Caloocan City

Motorists were advised to take alternative routes while reblocking and repair work are ongoing.

“The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, March 4,” said MMDA.
