Negros Occidental lone bettor bags P18 M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA, Philippine — A lone bettor from Negros Occidental became the country’s newest millionaire after winning the P18 million Lotto 6/42 jackpot on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky bettor correctly guessed the winning combination — 14-23-18-27-07-40 – for the Thursday night draw.

The PCSO said the winner will take home a total of P18,836,826, tax excluded.

The winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, the PCSO added.

Meanwhile, 34 other bettors won P21,930 each for correctly guessing five numbers in the winning combination.

There is still no winner for the Super Lotto 6/49 which now has a P15,840,000 jackpot, the PCSO said. /muf
