Pagadian LGU inks pact to establish renewable energy
PAGADIAN CITY — The local government of Pagadian City has signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOC) for the establishment of renewable power that would meet the demands of its people.
In ceremonial signing of MOC at the Acacia Hotel Davao, Mayor Sammy Co said the LGU’s partnership with the Oltama Development for a huge energy investment for Pagadian City will be another milestone for the local government.
The MOC is focused on building a Hybrid Power Plant in Pagadian City to cater to the needs of its people.
Co welcomes this project to become a reality and adds it to the many accomplishments under his administration.
“Renewable energy is our way forward in having consistent access to new sources of energy and maintaining a balance in our environment,” Co added.
Present during the signing were French Ambassador to the Philippines his Excellency Amb. Michele Boccoz, Chairperson of Mindanao Development Authority Sec. Maria Belen Acosta, ZAMSURECO 1 General Manager Raul Saniel.
