PRC says 216 passed licensure exam for sanitary engineer

MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) announced on Friday that 216 out of 300 examinees passed the February 2024 Sanitary Engineers Computer-Based Examination.

The exam was held from Feb. 27 to 29.

Angelie Jade Alonzo from the National University-Manila topped the test with a rating of 84.88 percent, Trailing her was Pierre James Miranda, of Mapúa Institute of Technology-Manila, who obtained a score of 83.76 percent, and Renz Edward Maneclang, of the Technological Institute of the Philippines-Quezon City, at third place with 83.42 percent.

The PRC also said three schools were deemed as top performers in the exam, namely: the University of Baguio, which has a passing rate of 88.89 percent; National University-Manila, 82.14 percent; and Mapúa Institute of Technology-Manila, 80 percent.

It added that the date and venue for the oath-taking of the new sanitary engineers will be announced at a later date.
