PRC: 2,155 pass radiologic technologist exam; 67 pass x-ray technologist exam
MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board has released the results of the December 2023 Radiologic Technologists Licensure Exam (RTLE) and X-Ray Technologists Licensure Exam (XTLE).
According to the PRC 2,155 out of 3,878, or 55.57 percent of the examinees passed the RTLE, while 67 out of 235, or 28.51 percent passed the XTLE.
The results were out three working days after the examinations were held last Dec. 11 and 12, the PRC said on its website on Friday.
For the RTLE, the PRC said Sophia Vien Pereda of the Angeles University Foundation topped the examination, with a rating of 91.40 percent.
Pereda is followed by Ivy Claire Bermudez of the Trinity University of Asia – Quezon City and Angel Roann Lumague of Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital Educational Institution, both rank second and have a rating of 91 percent.
The top-performing school of the RTLE is Holy Angel University. With a passing rate of 86 percent, 21 out of 22, or 95.45 percent of the exam takers in this school passed the licensure examination.
Meanwhile, for the XTLE, the PRC said with a rating of 86 percent, Prince Louise Aplicador of the Wesleyan University-Philippines – Cabanatuan City topped the examination.
With a rating of 85.75 percent, Bai Mahani Usman of Notre Dame Hospital & Siena College of Cotabato, Inc. followed Aplicador.
The PRC said no one qualified to be a top-performing school in the XTLE as none has at least 20 examinees with a passing rate of at least 80 percent.
According to PRC, the board exams were administered in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
