Indonesian President Widodo arrives in PH for official visit
MANILA, Philippines — Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrived at Villamor Airbase in Pasay City at 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday for an official visit.
The Indonesian president is in the country for three days, from January 9 to 11, according to the Palace.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. is set to meet with Widodo on Wednesday in Malacañan Palace.
The two Association of Southeast Asian Nations leaders will take stock of the relationship between the Philippines and Indonesia during their meeting.
In November 2024, the Philippines and Indonesia will commemorate 75 years of diplomatic relations.
