DOST-SEI now accepting applications for 2024 undergrad scholarship
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has begun accepting applicants for its 2024 undergraduate scholarship.
In its announcement on Friday, the DOST-SEI said that the following students are eligible to apply:
- Graduating Grade 12 students who are part of the Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (Stem) class;
- Non-Stem students who belong to the top five percent of their graduating class;
- Grade 12 students who graduated before the school year 2023-2024 but have not enrolled in college;
- Non-Stem students who belong to the top five percent of their graduating class who graduated before the school year 2023-2024 but have not enrolled in college;
- High-school graduates who graduated before the K-12 program who belong to the top five percent of their graduating class
- Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen
- Must be of good moral character and good health
- May have applied to the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not qualify
- May have qualified for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not avail of the award
- Must have not earned any post-secondary (college or vocational) units

The deadline for applications for submission will be on December 31, while in-person pen-and-paper qualifying examinations will be held from April 6 to 7.
